Subject: [LM_NET] PUBLISHED: Digital Citizenship & OER iTunes U Collection

Colleagues -

I'm ecstatic to share my Apple Distinguished Educators international
collaboration has finally been published on iTunes U! This collection will
explore digital citizenship + open educational resources + ways you can curate
your own collection and give back to the Creative Commons community. You'll
need an iPad w/ the free iTunes U app to access the multi-touch books,
recommended apps, and other coursework.

"This nonlinear collection of Multi-Touch resource books are designed to support
educators who are authoring content and/or guiding learners who are authoring
content for publication. These Multi-Touch books will raise awareness about
digital citizenship, copyright, and plagiarism. This foundation will help
participants explore the expanding collection of open educational resources
(OER), learn and apply various digital licenses, and apply appropriate citation
practices. Finally, participants will learn ways to protect their own work and
demonstrate ways to curate their own collection of OERs. This course is designed
as a collection of resources to help the teacher/student navigate through open
educational resources."

AND don't forget our Digital Research Collection (published spring 2012) if
you're looking for Internet evaluation examples and ideas for teaching research

Enjoy, use, share! :-)
